Calming flow

Can you imagine that I took this photo in Germany? I visited my parents for a few weeks and we decided to go for a hike. And I’m really glad we did because the gorge was closed the day after due to ice and snow. Which is quite hard to imagine since the photo almost looks like summer. But no, it was pretty cold. The trail lead through the gorge with some parts only suitable for experienced hikers or climbers, Of course we went for that trail. My Mom was not happy about that, The trail got really steep and narrow and sturdiness was required. There were multiple small waterfalls that we also had to cross at some points and surprisingly I didn’t get my feet wet, I did not end up standing in the waterfall! What an achievement. Off to the next one!
