Can you imaging that I almost didn’t take this photo? I was on my hike back to the car and saw this sunlight-spotted landscape and almost didn’t take a photo. Oh how much I would have regretted that! I love the sun spots, the mountains in the background, the whole mood the picture sets off. I still feel the peaceful quietness, the calmness. I was the only one around, I had the place to myself. So I set up my camera and took this photo. There was a slight breeze, but it was surprisingly warm in the sun. Looking at this photo, it takes me back to this place and I wish I could return very soo. I can only image how this would look during winter when it’s covered in snow and ice. Or in autumn when everything is glowing in different colors. I think this photo is proof enough that even summer is a great time for photography.
