The sun goes down and the mountains awake

The mountains in Swedish Lapland look even more spectacular during sunset. The light is so soft and the mountains reflect the red light. So calm and beautiful. What wasn’t beautiful was the million mosquitos around me. I still hear them buzzing. So if anyone ever plans to go to the North in summer definitely bring bug spray! That keeps them at bay. My camera almost died that night. Not because something happened but I couldn’t charge the batteries. So only minutes after this picture was taken, my camera switched off and I didn’t have any charged batteries with me. So can you imagine I almost missed out on that picture?
